I recently had my second photo shoot with Pdx Boudoir Portraits by Nina Sage, with Kim Donohue styling my hair and makeup. We dabbled in a few different looks and styles: this is just a couple from out pinup inspired look! This team is so amazing: I really hope I get to work with them again and I highly suggest them, for your own projects!

So, to update you all, I am te new manager for Abi and Lois boutique in Portland OR! I know, pretty fabulous! I have been wanting to get into other branches of the fashion industry, so this is pretty awesome!
Anyway, when I walked into the store today, I noticed this FAB vintage inspired dress. It was WAY to cute to not try on. It was love at first sight!! Paired with brown leggings, brown belt and a pair of boots. I also tossed my green scarf and back with it: Its SO perfect for Fall! (Also spring and summer, if paired with different accessories!)

I want to share this image. This image, is apart of the ‘Beautiful As I Am’ campaign, put together, and shot by May Faith Photography.
I was so lucky to have been part of this campaign, which was created to call more attention to bullying. Children as well as adults, face unfair, cruel judgement by others. Words do in fact hurt and can cause sever emotional damage.

Believe it or not, that ‘gown’ is actually a sheet!! I whipped it together before the shoot, as I needed a large, statement gown, but couldn’t find any actual ‘designs’ in time for the shoot!

How did you get started in plus size modeling? It's been my dream since I was a little girl. I am from a very small town so would I need to relocate? You're beautiful by the way!

Thank you hun!
I was discovered by a store manger who asked me to walk a fashion show for her. After that, I realized I really liked modeling and that there was a market for girls my size.
So, I asked a friend to take a few simple shots of me: head shots and full body shots. I posted them online, on a few different sites for modeling and fashion. (modelmayhem.com, isoconnection.com)
I looked for photographers and stylists who were also building their portfolio as asked if they wanted to shoot TFP (Trade for Photo), which basically, everyone works for free and gets photos for their portfolio.
I kept on doing that, and still do that! I post my photo online and network like crazy!!
It takes a lot of hard work but you can do it! You just have to WANT to do it!

My goodness! I have been one busy bee! Photo shoots, new clients, writing and the occasional play-time. I have neglecated many accounts, including this one. Well not any more!! I finally have some more open time, I can finally dish all my adventures to share with the world, and prove women of any shape and size are fabulous! <3
